The Arcs will perform music from their forthcoming debut album, Yours, Dreamily, due Friday, September 4, at Housing Works Bookstore Cafe on Wednesday, September 9, in New York City as the first concert of the season in NPR Music's First Listen Live series. Tickets to this extremely intimate show will be available exclusively through a trivia contest on NPR Music's Twitter on Monday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 1. Housing Works Bookstore is a nonprofit venue whose proceeds go to Housing Works, Inc. to provide housing, healthcare, job training and advocacy for New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS. In June, The Arcs—Dan Auerbach, Leon Michels, Richard Swift, Homer Steinweiss, and Nick Movshon; Kenny Vaughan and Mariachi Flor de Toloache are also featured on the album—offered listeners a chance to sample the new music when they released one new track "Stay in My Corner," which NPR Music writer and editor Stephen Thompson described as "lush" and "alluring," with "a slinky, timeless feel."
