The line-up for the 2013 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has been announced, and included among this year's performers are four artists familiar to readers of the Nonesuch Journal: Björk, Amadou & Mariam, Bombino, and Fatoumata Diawara. The four-day festival takes place in Manchester, Tennessee, and runs June 13–16. Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 23, at noon EST.

Bjork's latest album, Biophilia, recently picked up a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package. Amadou & Mariam were up for an award for Best World Music Album for their latest, Folila. Bombino makes his Nonesuch Records debut with the release of his Dan Auerbach–produced album, Nomad, on April 2. Fatoumata Diawara, who released her debut album, Fatou, last year, recently announced a US tour for March and April.

Among the many other artists performing at Bonnaroo this year are Paul McCartney, Mumford & Sons, David Byrne, Wilco, and Punch Brothers banjoist Noam Pikelny.

    Kronos Quartet has announced its ninth-annual Kronos Festival, to take place at SFJAZZ Center, June 20–23, 2024.
