Carolina Chocolate Drops are performing on the Grand Ole Opry tonight, broadcast live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. Tonight's special star-packed show, dubbed Play On, Nashville!, marks the first anniversary of the flood that devastated much of Nashville. Among tonight's other performers are Alabama, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, and Charlie Daniels Band. The band has chosen the top five finalists in the search for a new logo. Now's your chance to vote on the winner.

The Chocolate Drops are also signing copies of their Grammy-winning Nonesuch album, Genuine Negro Jig, in the Opry Shop today before the show, starting at 5:30 PM CT. In other news, the band has chosen the top five finalists in the worldwide campaign to find the perfect Carolina Chocolate Drops logo for their new summer merchandise. After pouring through submissions from fans, the band has selected these five favorites. Now's your chance to vote on the winner. Take a look through all the finalists on the band's Facebook page and at nonesuch.com/media and then vote for your favorite on Facebook, now through this Friday, May 6.
 
The winner will receive a special Carolina Chocolate Drops prize package including a copy of Genuine Negro Jig on vinyl as well as a t-shirt with the winning design.     Congratulations to Kronos Quartet, whose acclaimed 1992 Nonesuch album Pieces of Africa has been named one of twenty-five recordings to be inducted into the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress for 2024. "It planted a seed for our work," Kronos founder and violinist David Harrington says of the album. "It's flowered so beautifully."
