The band, having just completed a UK tour, returns to the States to tour the US. Today, the Drops announce they'll return to the UK to play the Cambridge Folk Festival this summer.

The Carolina Chocolate Drops, whose Nonesuch debut, Genuine Negro Jig, is out worldwide on Tuesday, is the subject on an extensive profile on NPR's All Things Considered scheduled to air on Monday, President's Day. The band, having just completed a rapturously received UK tour, following the album debut there, returns to the States for next week's release and the subsequent start of the US tour.

Earlier this week, the Carolina Chocolate Drops announced, in a video recorded while in London, that it will be performing at the Bonnaroo festival in June. (You can watch that at nonesuch.com/media.) Now, the band announces that it will return to the UK this summer to play the Cambridge Folk Festival on July 31 and August 1.
