Following last weekend's performance at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Chris Thile and Michael Daves' next live duo set is slated for mid-July at the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, with Thile touring with Punch Brothers until then. In the mean time, you can watch the duo the New York Times called "a rip-roaring partnership" perform five songs off their recently released Nonesuch album, Sleep with One Eye Open, in a session at the Paste offices captured on video.

"It seems that whatever project he immerses himself in, Chris Thile can do no wrong," says Paste's Max Blau. "After bringing his virtuosic talents to bands like Nickel Creek and the Punch Brothers, the heralded mandolinist has now teamed up with guitarist Michael Daves for his next project."

Watch Chris Thile and Michael Daves perform five songs from that next project, Sleep with One Eye Open—"Loneliness and Desperation," "20/20 Vision," "Bury Me Beneath the Willow," "Billy in the Low Ground," and "My Little Girl in Tennessee"—which, says Blau, "captured two musicians who continue to be at the top of their game," at pastemagazine.com.

To pick up a copy of Sleep with One Eye Open, head to the Nonesuch Store, where orders include high-quality, 320 kbps MP3s of the album plus the bonus track "Sophronie" at checkout. For tour information, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.
