Conor Oberst, who recently closed out another US leg of his world tour, has announced a tour of Australia for February and March of 2015. The tour kicks off at The Triffid in Brisbane, includes multiple stops in Melbourne and Sydney, and culminates in a set at the Golden Plains Festival. Oberst will be joined on the tour by special guests The Felice Brothers.

Conor Oberst, who recently closed out another US leg of his world tour, has announced a tour of Australia for February and March of 2015, featuring music from his 2014 Nonesuch Records debut album, Upside Down Mountain. The tour kicks off at The Triffid in Brisbane, includes multiple stops in Melbourne and Sydney, and culminates in a set at the Golden Plains Festival. Oberst recently announced that he would perform at two holiday-season benefit shows in the United States: Holiday Cheer for FUV in New York City on December 8 and the KCSN Benefit in Northridge, California, on December 12. He will also perform at the Todos Santos Music Festival in Mexico in January. For details, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.

    Congratulations to Kronos Quartet, whose acclaimed 1992 Nonesuch album Pieces of Africa has been named one of twenty-five recordings to be inducted into the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress for 2024. "It planted a seed for our work," Kronos founder and violinist David Harrington says of the album. "It's flowered so beautifully."
