Congratulations to the cast and crew of Here Lies Love, the musical featuring music by David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, which took home five Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway last night: Alex Timbers for Outstanding Director; Ruthie Ann Miles, who plays Imelda Marcos, for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical; Clint Ramos for Outstanding Costume Design; Justin Townsend Outstanding Lighting Design; and M.L. Dogg and Cody Spencer for Outstanding Sound Design. The company took home the most awards at last night's ceremony at NYU Skirball Center, which was hosted by Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman and benefitted The Actors Fund.

Nonesuch Records releases the original cast recording starring Miles with Jose Llana as Ferdinand Marcos tomorrow. Here Lies Love premiered at New York’s Public Theater in April of last year and was extended four times. It won an Obie Award for music and lyrics; an Outer Critics Circle Award; Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Music, Lighting Design, and Projection Design; and two Theatre World Awards.
