Chris Thile—whose new album with Punch Brothers, Who's Feeling Young Now?, is due out in two weeks—is playing at Boston's House of Blues tonight with his fellow Goat Rodeo Sessions players: Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, and Edgar Meyer. Fans across the US will have a chance to catch all of the string-virtuoso magic on the big screen as the concert is broadcast live to movie theaters in all 50 states. Thile will join his fellow Punch Brothers on their US tour in February.
Chris Thile—whose new album with Punch Brothers, Who's Feeling Young Now?, is due out on Nonesuch Records in just two weeks—is playing two sets at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts, tonight with his fellow stars of the Goat Rodeo Sessions album: world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, legendary bluegrass fiddler Stuart Duncan, acclaimed bassist Edgar Meyer, and guest vocalist Aoife O'Donovan.
Fans in and outside of Boston and across the United States will have a chance to catch all of the string-virtuoso magic on the big screen as the special concert event is broadcast from the sold-out first set at the House of Blues to movie theaters in all 50 states, from Alaska to Florida, Maine to California, North Dakota to Texas. The show will be cinecast live starting at 7:30pm ET/ 6:30pm CT and tape delayed at 8 PM MT/PT/HI/AK (local time).
