Laurie Anderson will be among the current Grammy nominees presenting the first awards of the day at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards pre-telecast ceremony, taking place on Sunday, February 13, from 1 to 4 PM PT at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The ceremony will be co-hosted by Bobby McFerrin and Esperanza Spalding and feature a number of performances as well. The event will be streamed live internationally on grammy.com/live and youtube.com/thegrammys beginning at 1 PM PT.

The live stream of the pre-telecast will remain on grammy.com as video on demand for 30 days following the event. Following the pre-telecast ceremony, the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS from 8 to 11:30 PM ET/PT.

Anderson has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance for "Flow," the closing track to her latest Nonesuch release, Homeland. You can listen to and download the song here:

Today marks the start of Anderson's month-long curatorial duties with her husband Lou Reed at the downtown New York venue The Stone. The month's events include a special Valentine's duo by Anderson and Reed on February 15, a duo performance from Anderson and guitarist Fred Frith on the 23rd, as well as weekly Open House events every Sunday, in which visitors are invited "to hang out, drink great coffee, read, listen to unusual presentations and invent alternative ways to live and work."
