k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang kicked off their UK tour Monday night with a performance at Birmingham's Symphony Hall, featuring songs from their recently released Nonesuch album, Sing it Loud. The Times of London gives the concert four stars, with reviewer Stephen Dalton describing "lang's gorgeous voice" as "a versatile weapon of mass seduction." Following Tuesday's performance in Manchester, the tour hits London for two consecutive nights at the Royal Festival Hall, tonight and Friday night, before heading to Nottingham and Glasgow in the coming days.
