k.d. lang will join Tony Bennett on stage again to headline the San Francisco Symphony’s 2010 Black & White Ball on May 22. The concert will include duets as well as individual performances at San Francisco's Davies Symphony Hall with all proceeds going to support the Symphony’s Adventures in Music education program. The pair's 1994 duet "Moonglow" will be part of Recollection, the forthcoming k.d. lang career retrospective, out February 9.

k.d. lang will join Tony Bennett on stage again to headline the San Francisco Symphony’s 2010 Black & White Ball on Saturday, May 22. The two will perform in a concert that will include duets as well as individual performances at San Francisco's Davies Symphony Hall at 8 PM. There will be a post-concert party, headlined by Kool & The Gang, at San Francisco’s War Memorial Performing Arts Center, featuring 10 bands on five stages, live music, dancing, food, and drinks. All proceeds from the evening will support the Symphony’s Adventures in Music education program, which provides comprehensive music education to every child in grades 1-5 of San Francisco public elementary schools.

Among k.d.'s four Grammy wins is the one for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album she earned for her collaboration with Bennett on A Wonderful World. The duo's rendition of "Moonglow," originally released on 1994's Tony Bennett: MTV Unplugged, will be available on disc two of Recollection, the forthcoming k.d. lang career retrospective, due out on Nonesuch February 9.

The 2010 Black & White Ball Chair Patricia Sprincin says, “I know the experience will be unforgettable, beginning with a truly special concert by Tony Bennett and k.d. lang, who will kick off the ball with such elegance and excitement.”
