Lake Street Dive's own Rachael Price was the guest vocalist on public radio's Live From Here last weekend, broadcast from the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota. She joined guest host Jon Batiste, who was sitting in while Chris Thile is on tour with Punch Brothers, and the band on several songs, including the Ray Noble classic "The Very Thought of You" and Prince's "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?" Price joins her Lake Street Dive band mates on tour in Europe for a two-week tour starting in Vienna on April 13. They have an extensive US spring and summer tour ahead, including double bills with The Wood Brothers, supporting spots with The Avett Brothers, and headline shows, some with Yola as special guest. Punch Brothers continue their US tour with special guest Gabriel Kahane through the end of the month. The band performs a sold-out show at Carnegie Hall with Nickel Creek in May and returns to the Telluride and RockGrass festivals in Colorado in June and July, respetively. Chris Thile returns to host Live From Here on April 6.
