Laurie Anderson's Heart of a Dog will receive its HBO premiere on April 25. The film is still playing at theaters across the US, having landed on a number of year's best lists, including those of the New York Times and New York magazine. A unique three-minute version of the film is showing on Times Square's electronic billboards each night this month starting at 11:57 PM as part of Midnight Moments. Laurie Anderson's new film, Heart of a Dog, will receive its HBO premiere on April 25. The film, Anderson's first in 30 years, is a personal essay encompassing joy and heartbreak and remembering and forgetting, at the heart of which is a lament for her late beloved dog Lolabelle.

Heart of a Dog was shown at film festivals and opened theatrically last year and is still playing at theaters across the United States, having earned critical praise and landed on a number of year's best lists, including those of the New York Times and New York magazine. A unique three-minute version of the film is showing on Times Square's electronic billboards each night this month starting at 11:57 PM as part of Midnight Moments.

The complete soundtrack recording of Heart of a Dog is available from Nonesuch Records and contains the full audio recording of the film, including all music and spoken text. To pick up a copy, head to the iTunes or the Nonesuch Store now.
