In the four weeks since word went out that Laurie Anderson was in search of a collaborator to remix her new song, "Only an Expert," off her forthcoming Nonesuch album, Homeland, via online music creation hub Indaba Music, remix artists the world over have offered submissions in styles across the spectrum, even including Big Band. Today is the last day to enter at indabamusic.com/remixla; submissions are due by 5 PM ET. That's when the work switches hands, and the voting begins.

That's where you come in. Once all the mixes are in, it's up to you to pick your favorite. Head to Indaba to place your vote starting at 5 PM. The top 25 most popular mixes will then go to the panel of judges—Anderson, Homeland producer Lou Reed, and Indaba's Mantis Evar—who will pick ten honorable mentions, who will have their remix streamed on Anderson's official website and receive a signed copy of the Homeland CD/DVD and a year-long Pro membership to Indaba Music.

The judges will also pick a Grand Prize Winner and two Runners-Up from all the submissions. The Winner will receive $1,000 cash, have the mix be included as an exclusive track on the iTunes Homeland release, have the track streamed here on Nonesuch.com and Anderson's site, and receive a year-long Platinum membership to Indaba Music. The Runners-Up will have their track streamed on the Nonesuch.com and will receive a year-long Platinum membership to Indaba Music.
