Laurie Anderson will be the guest on WNYC's Soundcheck today at 2 PM ET. Tune in to hear Anderson perform live in studio and discuss her latest stage work, Delusion. She will give the New York premiere of the piece at BAM's Harvey Theater in Brooklyn this Tuesday, September 21, kicking off BAM's Next Wave Festival with two weeks of Delusion performances. Laurie Anderson will be the guest on today's episode of Soundcheck on New York public radio station WNYC. Tune in at 2 PM ET on 93.9 FM in New York and online at wnyc.org to hear Anderson perform live in studio and discuss her latest stage work, Delusion. She will give the New York premiere of the piece—which includes songs on Anderson's latest Nonesuch release, Homeland—at BAM's Harvey Theater in Brooklyn this Tuesday, September 21, kicking off BAM's 2010 Next Wave Festival with two weeks of Delusion performances.

After her performance on Soundcheck, Anderson joins violinist Gil Morgenstern and pianist Jonathan Feldman for the opening concert of Morgenstern's Reflections series, titled The Voice of the Violin, at the WMP Concert Hall in New York City tonight. For the sold-out event, she will narrate works by Russian poet Anna Akhmatova. Also on the program is music by Elliott Carter, Gershwin, Bach, and Prokoviev, among others.
