As noted last week in the Nonesuch Journal, La Havas teamed with Yours Truly to create a video for “Age.” Shot in Los Angeles this spring, the video features Lianne on a picnic date with Reggae Pops—an older gentleman known in Los Angeles for going to parties and dancing with people’s girlfriends—and pairs with on the track’s lyrics about a May-December romance. While in Los Angeles this past week, La Havas stopped by Amoeba Music Hollywood for a free in-store performance on Friday, following headline shows at Bowery Ballroom in New York and Le Belmont in Montreal. La Havas returns to the US next month for a 14-date tour across the country supporting John Legend, starting with an inaugural performance at the new Barclay Center's Cushman & Wakefield Theater in Brooklyn.
