Natalie Merchant was featured on two radio sessions over the weekend: NPR’s World Cafe Friday, performing four songs from her new, self-titled album, “Lulu,” “Texas,” “Giving Up Everything,” and “Ladybird,” and on BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris program Sunday, performing “It’s A-Coming” and “Texas” from the album, plus “Kind & Generous,” from 1998's Ophelia. Natalie Merchant continued to celebrate the recent release of her new, self-titled album with two radio sessions that aired over the weekend: she was the guest on NPR’s World Cafe on Friday, talking with host David Dye and performing four songs from the album, “Lulu,” “Texas,” “Giving Up Everything,” and “Ladybird,” and on BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris program on Sunday, performing “It’s A-Coming” and “Texas” from the new album, plus a special request from Harris, “Kind & Generous,” from her 1998 album, Ophelia.
