Punch Brothers help kick off the Sacred Rose festival in Bridgeview, IL, outside Chicago, with a set of songs from their new album, Hell on Church Street, and more on the Canopy stage at Seatgeek Stadium Campus tonight, just before Phil Lesh and Friends take the stage. The band then heads to Bayfield, Wisconsin, to perform at the Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua on Saturday.
Molly Tuttle is also at Sacred Rose, playing the festival’s closing day with The Infamous Stringdusters on the Dreamfield stage on Sunday afternoon. Tuttle will have just come from Chicago, where she takes part in the Fretboard Summit at the Old Town School of Folk Music on Saturday.

Emmylou Harris and Wilco both perform on the closing day of the Beach Road Weekend Music Festival in Vineyard Haven’s Veterans Memorial Park on Martha’s Vineyard, MA, on Sunday.
Harris will have just performed on a double bill with Mary Chapin Carpenter at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA, on Saturday, while Wilco will have performed at the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven that night.

Hurray for the Riff Raff plays a set of songs from their new album, LIFE ON EARTH, at Spazio211 in Turin, Italy, today as part of Todays Festival, then heads to the UK, kicking off a two-week tour with a set at the All Points East festival in London’s Victoria Park on Sunday.
