Also on the bill, part of LPR’s tenth anniversary celebration, is Roomful of Teeth. Her hometown album release show is at London's Hoxton Hall on June 19.

Shelter was produced by Thomas Bartlett and features eight original songs, including "Roman Holiday" and "IOU," along with Chaney's interpretations of Purcell's "O Solitude" and Frank Harford and Tex Ritter's "Long Time Gone," first recorded by the Everly Brothers. To reserve your copy of the album and an exclusive, limited-edition signed print, head to the Nonesuch Store now.

Thomas Bartlett and Nico Muhly perform music from their new album, Peter Pears: Balinese Ceremonial Music, at LSO St Luke’s, presented by the Barbican, in London tonight. As on the album, Bartlett and Muhly play pianos and keyboards, and Bartlett sings, joined by other musicians on strings and metallic pitched percussion.

Peter Pears: Balinese Ceremonial Music, released last month on Nonesuch Records, comprises nine songs written by the duo plus three gamelan transcriptions by ethnomusicologist Colin McPhee that inspired the songs. The Irish Times gives the album four stars, noting its “slow-burning beauty,” while France’s Télérama praises its “unique and addictive dreamlike quality.”

---

David Byrne rounds out his spring American Utopia North American tour this weekend, playing a sold-out show at Peabody Opera House in St. Louis tonight and concluding with a concert at Farmers Bureau Lawn Amphitheater in Indianapolis on Saturday. The Chicago Tribune, reviewing last weekend’s shows at Auditorium Theatre, calls the performance “a marvel of staging and motion … the evening proved a celebration of Byrne's music at its most rhythmic and transcendent.”

The tour heads next to the UK and Europe for the rest of this month and July, returning to the States to continue the tour into October.

---

Rhiannon Giddens’s spring North American tour continues with festival sets at Brown’s Island in Richmond, Virginia, tonight, joined by the Richmond Symphony for Friday Cheers, and Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington, Vermont, on Sunday, for Discover Jazz Festival.

---

At Richmond Raceway in Richmond on Sunday. Plant spoke with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ahead of tonight's show; you can read the interview here

---

Rostam continues his tour of Europe with festival sets this weekend, playing the Red Stage at Ådalen in Aarhus, Denmark, this afternoon, as part of NorthSide Festival, and Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands, on Sunday evening, as part of Best Kept Secret.

Last week, Rostam released Half-Light Remixes: EP 1—reimagined versions of four tracks from his 2017 debut album, Half-Light, by Tourist, Jim-E Stack, Instupendo, and Matsor Projects—available to download and stream here.

---

Chris Thile hosts his public radio show Live From Here from Ravinia in Highland Park, Illinois, on Saturday, with special guests Parker Millsap, The Secret Sisters, Hawktail (featuring fellow Punch Brother Paul Kowert), and comedian Tom Papa.
