David Byrne brings his American Utopia world tour to South America for sets at two Lollapalooza festivals this weekend, performing at Parque O'Higgins in Santiago tonight, as part of Lollapalooza Chile, and Hipódromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires on Sunday, for Lollapalooza Argentina.
Byrne shared a video for "Everybody's Coming To My House" from his new album, American Utopia, featuring a performance by Detroit School of Arts Vocal Jazz Ensemble students. He spoke about it with Trevor Noah on The Daily Show. You can watch both here. Tune in to hear Byrne's Desert Island Discs on BBC Radio 4 this Sunday.

Pianist Jeremy Denk gives a solo recital at Cornell University’s Bailey Hall in Ithaca, New York, tonight. The program includes works by Mozart, Prokofiev, Beethoven, and Schumann. Denk also speaks to Professor Rebecca Harris-Warrick’s class “Classical Music from 1750,” which is open to the public for the occasion this morning.

Tigran Hamasyan joins the Yerevan State Chamber Choir, led by Harutyun Topikyan, in performing his piece for piano and voices Luys i luso at Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on Saturday afternoon.
Hamasyan recently released For Gyumri, a companion EP to last year’s album An Ancient Observer, for which he has received an ECHO Jazz 2018 nomination.

Saxophonist Joshua Redman continues a European run of tour dates with the Reis Demuth Wiltgen Trio, joining the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, led by Vince Mendoza, at Philharmonie Luxembourg tonight, and leading their own trio-plus show at Théâtre des Louvrais in Pontoise, France, on Saturday.
Nonesuch releases Still Dreaming, an album by Redman, drummer Brian Blade, bassist Scott Colley, and trumpeter Ron Miles, on May 25. The album, inspired by Redman’s father Dewey Redman's band Old and New Dreams, is available to pre-order from the Nonesuch Store and iTunes with an instant download of the track "Unanimity."
