Sara Watkins recently completed an extensive tour across the UK and Ireland, featuring music from her self-titled Nonesuch debut solo album. The tour was a series of duo sets, with her brother Sean on guitar. Capturing it all on video was Todd Cooper, who put together a beautiful collection of behind-the-scenes tour moments and stunning scenery, all set to the album track "Jefferson." Sara and Sean will next appear in William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, presented by the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles, starting this Wednesday, December 1. They will perform music by Lyle Lovett through the production's limited engagement of 23 performances, which will run through December 19, at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City.

"We think that Lyle Lovett’s music will underscore the play exactly the same way the popular music Shakespeare selected to use way back when," says director Ben Donenberg, who has set this production of Much Ado About Nothing on a fairytale California vineyard. "And if you like a good grape stomping or know Lyle’s song ‘She’s No Lady, She’s My Wife,’ you can get a feeling for the fun we’re going to have with one of Shakespeare’s most unlikely weddings.”

This production of Much Ado About Nothing, starring Helen Hunt as Beatrice and Tom Irwin as Benedick, will be the first full-scale, indoor production presented by the Shakespeare Center. The performing company of 17 actors and musicians also includes Chris Butler, Ramon De Ocampo, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Grace Gummer, Brian Joseph, Greta Jung, Geoffrey Lower, Anthony Manough, Dakin Matthews, Stephen Root, Jared Sakren, Fred Sanders, and David Ogden Stiers.
