Shawn Colvin's new album, All Fall Down, is out this week on Nonesuch Records. To mark the occasion, AOL Music is streaming the album in full all week. And to kick off the celebration, Colvin is performing a special album-release concert at City Winery in New York City tonight, joined onstage by Buddy Miller, her longtime friend and the album's producer, and bassist Viktor Krauss, both of whom perform on All Fall Down. Recorded in Nashville, All Fall Down is a collection of 11 songs—eight written or co-written by Colvin—featuring performances by Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Jakob Dylan, Bill Frisell, Viktor Krauss, Brian Blade, Stuart Duncan, and Julie Miller. "Shawn Colvin's pedigree in the music business is rich indeed," says the Daily Telegraph's Martin Chilton, who describes All Fall Down as "an assured and imaginative album" and lauds the aforementioned musical contributors as "superb." USA Today calls the title track "among her best."

The release of All Fall Down comes on the same date as William Morrow/HarperCollins publishes her memoir, Diamond in the Rough, which insightfully and candidly looks back over a rich lifetime of highs and lows. The wit, lyricism, and empathy found in the book are traits that have long characterized Colvin’s songwriting and her live performances.

Colvin will be performing songs from All Fall Down and signing copies of the CD and the book at Barnes & Noble in New York's Tribeca neighborhood on release day, tomorrow, and at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove at Farmers Market in Los Angeles next Monday, one day before the West Coast record release show at the El Rey Theater.
