The musicians will also take part in a special screening of Paul Thomas Anderson's 2015 film Junun documenting the recording of that album at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn on Monday, July 9. They will answer questions after the screening, and Ben Tzur and members of the Rajasthan Express will give a live musical performance. The film and Q&A will be simulcast at Alamo Drafthouse theaters across the United States, in Austin, Dallas, Denver, El Paso, Houston, Lubbock, Omaha, Raleigh, San Antonio, San Francisco, and northern Virginia. To find a theater near you, visit drafthouse.com.
While Junun is on tour in North America this summer, the film can also be seen at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston as part of the Peacock in the Desert exhibition celebrating the royal arts of Jodhpur, India, where the record and film were made, and at the Gateway Film Center in Columbus (July 24) and Coolidge Corner Theatre outside Boston (July 29).
To pick up a copy of the album, head to iTunes, Amazon, or the Nonesuch Store, where CD and vinyl orders include a download of the complete album at checkout. The album can also be heard on Spotify and Apple Music.

Congratulations to Kronos Quartet, whose acclaimed 1992 Nonesuch album Pieces of Africa has been named one of twenty-five recordings to be inducted into the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress for 2024. "It planted a seed for our work," Kronos founder and violinist David Harrington says of the album. "It's flowered so beautifully."
