Tune in to NPR's World Cafe today to hear an encore presentation of The Black Keys' appearance on the show from earlier this summer as part of World Cafe's Best of Summer series. Band mates Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney talk with host David Dye about their latest Nonesuch release, Brothers, and perform a few tracks from it.

After a couple of weeks off from touring, Auerbach and Carney have hit the road again. They performed a sold-out headlining set at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo, New York, last night, with the Athens, Georgia-based trio The Whigs supporting. Both bands join up with Kings of Leon for a three-week tour of the United States, starting tonight at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Indianapolis, and making stops in Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Alabama, and Texas, finishing up in Dallas on September 23. Unfortunately, the two Pennsylvania dates originally scheduled for next week have been canceled; refunds will be made at point of purchase.

Below are all the dates on The Black Keys tour with Kings of Leon. In addition to these dates, the band performs at the moe.down festival in upstate New York this weekend and headline at the Charlottesville Pavilion in Charlottesville, Virginia, next Thursday. Just days after the final performance with Kings of Leon,  The Black Keys launch their own fall headlining tour that will take them well into November.
