The Black Keys will return to Saturday Night Live for their third musical guest appearance on May 10. The program will be hosted by Charlize Theron and will feature songs from the duo’s new album, Turn Blue, which will be released the following Tuesday, May 13, on Nonesuch Records. "Fever," the first single off the album, is currently #1 on AAA radio and #5 on Alternative radio.

Produced by Danger Mouse, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, Turn Blue comprises 11 new tracks, including the first single, “Fever,” which can be heard here. The single is currently #1 on AAA radio and #5 on Alternative radio. Additionally, the album’s title track recently premiered on Carney’s SiriusXM show, Serious Boredom, and can be heard here. Both songs are included as free instant downloads with album preorders in the Nonesuch Store and at theblackkeys.com/turnblue, along with early access to tickets for the upcoming North American tour. T-shirt bundles are available on the band's site as well. Digital pre-orders are also available at iTunes, where the two songs are also on sale.

The Black Keys will headline the Hangout Festival in Alabama on May 16 before embarking on an extensive European festival tour this summer; further US dates will be announced soon. See below for all of the currently announced dates.

    The Black Keys have secured the No. 1 Current Rock Album and No. 1 Current Alternative Album in US sales following the release of their new album, Ohio Players, last week. The album also is the highest debut of the week on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums Chart and Top Alternative Albums Chart, at No. 5 on both charts, and has reached No. 4 on Overall Current Album sales and No. 26 on the Billboard 200. Internationally, Ohio Players is the band’s sixth consecutive top 20 album in the UK, as well as top 20 in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Switzerland, among others.

    Congratulations to Kronos Quartet, whose acclaimed 1992 Nonesuch album Pieces of Africa has been named one of twenty-five recordings to be inducted into the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress for 2024. "It planted a seed for our work," Kronos founder and violinist David Harrington says of the album. "It's flowered so beautifully."
