Before that, The Low Anthem will embark on a headlining tour in support of its forthcoming Nonesuch release, Smart Flesh, due out February 22, including a performance at New York City's Bowery Ballroom on March 8. The band will also perform at Pete Seeger's Clearwater Festival in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Last week, The Low Anthem took New York City by storm. On Tuesday, January 11, they previewed several tracks from Smart Flesh on WNYC's Soundcheck. The next night they showcased their lush, four-part harmonies on the Late Show with David Letterman with a stirring rendition of the album's opening track, "Ghost Woman Blues." They wrapped it all up on Thursday with a sold-out show at Lincoln Center's Allen Room, called "breathtaking" by Brooklyn Vegan.

Smart Flesh is available for pre-order in the Nonesuch Store on CD, vinyl, and in a two-disc deluxe edition. The first 250 pre-orders include a letterpress printed poster, signed by the band. All pre-orders include instant downloads of "Ghost Woman Blues" as well as high-quality, 320 kbps MP3s of the complete album available on release day.
