The Low Anthem closed out its European tour earlier this week with a sold-out show at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. Consequence of Sound calls it "a compelling set, illuminated by a remarkable standard of musicianship." The Guardian gives the concert four stars, as does the Independent.

"It all begins beautifully," says the Independent's Warren Howard, before some technical difficulties with the sound system forced a change of plans. Even that glitch led to good things led the band to improvise a full-on unplugged set. "They head up the steps into the heart of the auditorium," Howard reports, "and in the half-light, busk a wonderful mini-set of rousing folk songs."

The video for "Boeing 737," off The Low Anthem's latest Nonesuch release, Smart Flesh, premiered on SPIN.com last week and is now available below via the band's YouTube channel and can be seen at nonesuch.com/media. To create the new video, the team at End of the Road Films took to a deep forest in rural Scotland. Here, a flock of wire-walkers move through the skies as they are pursued by a band of circus men. Feathers fly and axes swing as the graceful figures are brought plummeting down to Earth. Featured in the video is the world-renowned high-wire walker Jade Kindar-Martin.
