Earlier this month, Laurie Anderson participated in a lecture/performance and informal discussion at the 2011 Art Biennale in Venice titled "A Short Talk on Places." The event was one of the Biennale's "Meetings on Art," a series of seminars with artists, curators, philosophers, and scholars in conjunction with the 54th International Art Exhibition, ILLUMInations. Laurie Anderson's next scheduled performance is a free concert at the Damrosch Park Bandshell in New York City as part of the Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival.
