Wanda Jackson will be among the performers and revelers celebrating the South by Southwest Music Festival (SXSW) at Rachael Ray's Feedback Party at Stubb's BBQ in Austin, Texas, next Saturday, March 19. Jackson will be headlining on the Stubb's stage, which will also see performances from The Bravery, Tapes 'n' Tapes, Eli "Paperboy" Reed, and others. The festivities begin at 10:30 AM and continue till 4 PM. Jackson is the latest Nonesuch artist to join the SXSW festival line-up, joining Emmylou Harris and Jessica Lea Mayfield. Coincidentally, today is International Women's Day, an occasion that Prefix magazine has marked with a list that "celebrates some of our personal favorite frontwomen, singers, songwriters, and icons."
