Wanda Jackson will be premiering a brand new retro-style video of the Bob Dylan great “Thunder on the Mountain” on Tuesday, January 18, on AOL Music. Check out a teaser to the hip-shakin, bone-rattlin’ video here. Jackson will also be performing live at Third Man Records in Nashville that same day, with Jack White and The Third Man House Band. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Wanda Jackson will be premiering a brand new retro-style video of the Bob Dylan great “Thunder on the Mountain” on Tuesday, January 18, at 11 AM EST, on AOL Music. Shot on location at United Record Pressing in Nashville, the video features her producer and bandmate Jack White on guitar, along with the Third Man House Band, and includes enough vintage tube amps, fabulous guitars and classic cool to do the “Queen of Rockabilly” proud.
The "Thunder on the Mountain" video was shot by Dylan Southern and William Lovelace of 32 (who have worked with Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, and Blur, among others).

The video heralds the release of Jackson’s highly anticipated new albumThe Party Ain’t Over, due out via Third Man and Nonesuch Records on January 25 and available for pre-order in the Nonesuch Store. The first 250 pre-orders on CD or vinyl include a limited edition poster signed by Jackson herself.
The special record release shows for The Party Ain't Over in New York (January 21) and Los Angeles (January 23 and 24) featuring Jack White and The Third Man House Band are fully sold-out, but Nonesuch Records is giving away a pair of tickets to each of the three shows. Kronos Quartet has announced its ninth-annual Kronos Festival, to take place at SFJAZZ Center, June 20–23, 2024. The festival marks the ensemble’s milestone 50th Anniversary year and the farewell performances of John Sherba and Hank Dutt, members of Kronos Quartet for more than 45 years. It will feature a slate of world and Bay Area premieres commissioned as part of the KRONOS Five Decades season; several guest artists; and the final performance of A Thousand Thoughts, a live documentary chronicling the quartet’s career, written and directed by Sam Green and Joe Bini.
Timo Andres joins Alarm Will Sound in Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians in College Park and Philadelphia. Cécile McLorin Salvant premieres new piece at 92NY in NYC, where The Magnetic Fields play 69 Love Songs at The Town Hall. Sam Amidon plays with Laura Veirs in Portland and Shahzad Ismaily in Seattle. Hurray for the Riff Raff is in Texas for shows in Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston, where Kronos Quartet live-scores Sam Green's documentary about them. Nathalie Joachim is in Columbus. Mandy Patinkin performs in Peekskill and joins his family in conversation in New London. Sarah Kirkland Snider’s Mass for the Endangered is performed outside Pittsburgh.
