Lake Street Dive joined WFUV at Brooklyn's Retrofret Vintage Guitars for a session of NPR's Night Owl. Following last month's release of their take on "Baby Don't Leave Me Alone with My Thoughts," from the new album Free Yourself Up, comes a new song from the session: "Musta Been Something." Lake Street Dive stopped by Brooklyn's Retrofret Vintage Guitars last month to join New York public radio station WFUV for a session of NPR's Night Owl. Following last month's release of their performance of "Baby Don't Leave Me Alone with My Thoughts" comes the release of a new song from the session: "Musta Been Something." You can watch it below.

Both songs are featured on Lake Street Dive's new album, Free Yourself Up.     Congratulations to Kronos Quartet, whose acclaimed 1992 Nonesuch album Pieces of Africa has been named one of twenty-five recordings to be inducted into the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress for 2024. "It planted a seed for our work," Kronos founder and violinist David Harrington says of the album. "It's flowered so beautifully."
