Laurie Anderson's new film, Heart of a Dog, which is currently showing at select theaters in New York and Los Angeles, was shown at the New York Film Festival last month. Following the screening, Anderson sat down with New York Film Festival director Kent Jones for a brief discussion of the film. You can now watch their conversation below.

The New York Times calls Heart of a Dog "dreamy, drifty, and altogether lovely." New York says it's "one of the most moving and provocative films you’ll see this year." Indiewire calls it "one of the best movies of the year." The Los Angeles Times describes the film as "that rarest of pieces, an unabashedly experimental work that's as inviting as a visit with an old friend," concluding that it's Anderson's spirit, "beautifully inquisitive, witty, open, lyrical and generous—that makes Heart of a Dog so dreamily memorable."
