Mandy Patinkin released Experiment, his first album on Nonesuch Records, in 1994, featuring songs from nine decades of popular music from Irving Berlin to Alan Menken. He has since recorded four additional solo albums for Nonesuch—Oscar & Steve, Mamaloshen, Kidults, and Mandy Patinkin Sings Sondheim—and is featured on the 1996 Nonesuch album Leonard Bernstein's New York.
