Olivia Chaney has released a new track, "Roman Holiday," from her forthcoming album, Shelter, due June 15. She has also released a new video of her performing the song, filmed by Matthew Edginton. You can watch it here, and download the new song, along with the previously released track "IOU," when you pre-order the album. Chaney will celebrate the release of the new album with performances in London and NYC in June.

Olivia Chaney has released a new track, "Roman Holiday," from her forthcoming album, Shelter, due June 15 on Nonesuch Records. She has also released a new video of her performing the song, filmed by Matthew Edginton. You can watch it below, and download the new song, along with the previously released album track "IOU," when you pre-order the album on iTunes and in the Nonesuch Store, where CD and vinyl pre-orders also include an exclusive print autographed by Chaney and a download of the complete album on released day. Both new album tracks can also be heard on Spotify and Apple Music.

The London-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist will celebrate the release of the new album with a performance in her hometown at Hoxton Hall on June 19 and in New York City at (Le) Poisson Rouge on June 10 and at National Sawdust in Brooklyn on July 31. She also performs at Hadel & Hendrix in London this Friday, May 18, for The May Fayre. Details at nonesuch.com/on-tour.

Shelter was produced by Thomas Bartlett and features eight original songs, like "Roman Holiday" and "IOU," along with Chaney's interpretations of Purcell's "O Solitude" and Frank Harford and Tex Ritter's "Long Time Gone," first recorded by the Everly Brothers.

"It planted a seed for our work," Kronos founder and violinist David Harrington says of the album. "It's flowered so beautifully."
