Punch Brothers, having just returned from Israel, where they performed two sets in Tel Aviv as part of the White City Music Festival, pick up their US tour again with a performance at the Appalachian Uprising festival in Scottstown, Ohio, on June 2. It's one of a number of festival dates on the band's schedule, both in the US—Bonnaroo, Clearwater, Telluride, ROMP, Grey Fox, RockyGrass, FloydFest, and Newport—and in Europe, including Roskilde, North Sea Jazz, Latitude, Larmer Tree, and Hard Rock Calling, in addition to their own headline shows as well as a set supporting Wilco at Red Rocks.

Before then, the group's banjoist Noam Pikelny has a few solo dates on tap and will be joining guitarist Michael Daves at Brooklyn Folk Fest tonight. Daves will join Chris Thile, with whom he released the duo album Sleep with One Eye Open on Nonesuch last year, for a duo show at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville next month.

During a recent band stop in Nashville, Punch Brothers made their way to the studios at Nashville's independent radio station Lightning 100, 100.1 FM, to perform a couple of songs off their latest album, Who's Feeling Young Now?, released earlier this year on Nonesuch Records.
