Rhiannon Giddens was the musical guest on CBS This Morning: Saturday this past weekend. She performed two songs from her recently released debut solo album, Tomorrow Is My Turn—the traditional tune "Black Is the Color" and Hank Cochran's "She's Got You," made famous by Patsy Cline—as well as "Spanish Mary," a track from the New Basement Tapes album Lost on the River, for which she set newly found Bob Dylan lyrics to music. Giddens is currently touring the United States with music from Tomorrow Is My Turn, joined by her bandmates from Carolina Chocolate Drops—multi-instrumentalist Hubby Jenkins, cellist Malcolm Parson, and multi-instrumentalist Rowan Corbett—along with Jamie Dick on drums and Jason Sypher on bass.
