Rostam was on Conan on TBS last night, performing "Gwan," from his debut album, Half-Light. You can watch it here. He takes part in a live session on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic today. Rostam will perform at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in NYC on Wednesday and at The Growlers Six festival in LA on October 28 and will tour Europe in November.

Rostam, whose debut album, Half-Light, was released on Nonesuch Records last week, was the musical guest on Conan on TBS last night. He performed the album track "Gwan." NPR calls Half-Light "stunning." The New Yorker says it's "a wondrous album, full of coy dreams and quiet yearning." The Daily Beast calls it "sublime ... one of the more extraordinary records of the year." "It planted a seed for our work," Kronos founder and violinist David Harrington says of the album. "It's flowered so beautifully."
