The Black Keys followed a week of performances in NYC celebrating the release of their new album, El Camino, with a weekend on the West Coast. They performed at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas, at which "the guys could have converted almost anyone in attendance to the Church of Keys with the way the audience hung on to every word and guitar stroke," reports MTV, and at the Video Game Awards (VGA). You can watch their VGA performance of the El Camino tune "Lonely Boy" here.

The Black Keys followed a week of performances in New York City celebrating the release of their new album, El Camino—including Saturday Night Live, The Colbert Report, the Late Show with David Letterman, and an intimate record-release show streamed live on MTV Hive—with a weekend on the West Coast, performing in Los Angeles at KROQ's 22nd annual Almost Acoustic Christmas last night and at the ninth annual Video Game Awards (VGA) broadcast live around the world via Spike TV and MTV 2 on Saturday. You can watch the band perform "Lonely Boy," the first single off of El Camino, from the VGAs below.

"The Black Keys rocked the house with a perfect mix of old and new," says MTV's Kara Warner of Sunday's set at the Almost Acoustic Christmas show at LA's Gibson Amphitheatre. "From the familiar 'Howlin' for You,' 'Next Girl' and 'Tighten Up' [off of 2010's Brothers] to the brand-new 'Milk and Honey,' 'Sister' and current hit 'Lonely Boy,' the guys could have converted almost anyone in attendance to the Church of Keys with the way the audience hung on to every word and guitar stroke. We watched a group of three male fans continue to lose their minds after each song." Read more at mtv.com.
