Wilco was the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night. The band performed "A Magazine Called Sunset" on the show and gave a web-exclusive take on "Cars Can't Escape," both of which are featured on their forthcoming box set of rare studio and live recordings, Alpha Mike Foxtrot. That collection and What's Your 20?, a compilation of essential tracks from the band’s previously released studio recordings, will be released on November 17 (December 1 outside of North America) in conjunction with the band's 20th anniversary. Both are available to pre-order in the Nonesuch Store. Pre-orders of Alpha Mike Foxtrot include an instant download of “A Magazine Called Sunset,” which Wilco's Jeff Tweedy calls “a mysterious omission from an official recorded output and a real attempt at complete pop music.”

Also on The Tonight Show, Tweedy partnered with actor Ewan McGregor to face off against Jimmy Fallon and Charles Barkley in a fierce game of charades. You can watch that and the two performances below.

Wilco begins a sold-out, three-night run at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester tonight. In early December, Wilco will play six, sold-out shows at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre. Set lists will change each night and feature songs from every era of Wilco’s two-decade career. For additional details, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.
