Wilco has been in Europe all month stopping at the major summer festivals on the Continent and in the UK. Just this past weekend, the band played three festivals, concluding with the Green Man Festival at the bucolic Glanusk Park in Brecon Beacons, Wales, on Sunday, part of what The Independent called a "spot on" line-up. Reviewer Elisa Bray praises the band's "masterful performing," concluding: "The guitar interplay between Nels Cline and Jeff Tweedy in 'Impossible Germany' proved why they are one of the best live acts around." The Daily Mirror credits "a bold and largely successful booking policy" on the festival's part that "saw Wilco justify their Sunday close-out on the main stage with a spunky rock 'n' roll set."

There's more rock 'n' roll to be made in the UK tonight, when Wilco plays The Troxy in London with Portland folk rockers Blitzen Trapper opening. It's the first of three sold-out club shows that round out the European tour, with two nights to follow at Vicar Street in Dublin on Thursday and Friday. It's Wilco's last scheduled tour date till the fall, when the band hits the road again for a US tour, with Liam Finn opening, beginning at the University of Iowa on October 1.
