Wilco begins its world tour in the first of several shows with the fellow Chicagoans of Califone at the University of Montana's Adams Center in Missoula this Sunday. Concerts in the American Pacific Northwest and into Canada follow next week, leading to the band's free LiveCity Vancouver performance in David Lam Park on February 13 as part of the festivities surrounding the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

After further stops throughout Canada, back to the States till April, and on to Japan, New Zealand, and Australia into May, the band has now added several shows in Europe for the second half of May. The first week, beginning May 20, focuses on Scandinavia, with stops in Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. Then the tour heads south for the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona and two shows in Italy. With Europe in mind, the band has added its show at The Paradiso in Amsterdam from last fall to its Roadcase of performances available to stream at wilcoworld.net/roadcase. There are also two shows there still available for download as part of Wilco's efforts to raise funds for Haiti relief: last year's concerts in Brooklyn and London, which Time Out New York and The Independent, respectively, included in their year-end lists of the best gigs of 2009.
